Dr. Nick Lekkas
We work hard to bring you the very best in orthodontic care and it shows. You see it in the education, dedication and experience of Dr. Lekkas. Accomplished and respected, Dr. Nick Lekkas is a highly qualified board certified orthodontist utilizing the very latest techniques in orthodontic treatment. His goal is to provide state-of-the-art comprehensive orthodontic care whether traditional, invisible, and surgical treatment options for adults and children. Dr. Lekkas has a strong commitment to the diagnostic requirements of each individual to obtain optimal facial balance and appearance, as well as a beautiful smile.
He received his Bachelor's degree in Science and graduated with distinction in the honors program and subsequently received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in dentistry after completing four years of training at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry. He also completed a one year Advance Education in General Practice Residency from Mount Sinai Medical Center, Miami Beach, Florida.
Dr. Lekkas practiced as a general dentist before he was one of six residents chosen to attend the world-renowned Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City. He completed a three-year postgraduate program at where he was awarded his orthodontic specialty certification. Dr. Lekkas has achieved Board Certification and is a Diplomate of The American Board of Orthodontics, a distinction only awarded to a small number of orthodontists. He holds active memberships in the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association and Southern Association of Orthodontists.
Dr. Erin Arroyo
Dr. Erin Arroyo received her Bachelor of Science degree in Neurology, Physiology and Behavior at University of California, Davis.
She obtained a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine, where she graduated Magne Cum Laude. She completed an additional residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the Veterans Affairs Hospital, Miami.
She completed her residency in pediatric dentistry at University of Florida, Naples. While there, she trained to specialize in comprehensive preventive and restorative dentistry for infants, children and adolescents, including children who have special health care needs. Dr. Arroyo trained in various behavior guidance techniques, as well as sedation and hospital dentistry for children who may benefit from such services to complete their dental care.
Her approach with each child is unique, and she has the ability to adapt for your child’s individual success. Dr. Arroyo received her specialty certificate in Pediatric Dentistry and is eligible for board candidacy through the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Arroyo’s warm and compassionate demeanor and calm confidence will help put your child at ease. She strives to make the dental experience of each pediatric patient as positive as possible. Her goal is to educate not only the patient but parents as well on the importance of a good oral health and the prevention of dental caries. She encourages you to ask questions about your child’s oral health. She strives to serve her patients by combining outstanding care with an exceptional and informative experience for your family.
She is an active member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Florida Dental Association.
In her free time, Dr. Arroyo enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and sports. She looks forward to meeting you and your family!
Dr. Nancy V. Nguyen
Dr. Nguyen was born and raised in Miami, FL. She attended the University of Florida where she obtained her bachelor degrees in Biology and Psychology. She attended Nova Southeastern University's College of Dental Medicine, where she graduated with honors. Dr. Nguyen then went on to complete her Advanced Education for General Dentistry at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Miami, FL, helping vets achieve healthy smiles.
Dr. Nguyen likes cooking and exercising during her free time. Kayaking and rock climbing are among other activities that she also enjoys.
Dr. Nguyen finds value in teaching her patients about their oral health, including ways to prevent different oral diseases and how to treat them when they arise. She loves helping patients look and feel their best!
